The naturally occurring nutrients found in plants, when consumed in their original states along with other supporting phytonutrients, are often very easily digested, absorbed and utilized. Isolated, synthetic nutrients may be metabolized very differently, and are often found in higher doses to account for these differences. In this case, the goal is to use a natural form of each nutrient, and to absorb as much of it as possible, rather than to increase the dose. Quality over quantity!
